This document reports survey data on gender and racial/ethnic differences in respondents’ general background characteristics and interests. Specifically, results are presented for whether respondents plan to complete their degree at NC State and if they would choose this campus again, employment status, sense of belonging at NC State, involvement in campus activities, and perceptions of diversity at the University. Survey results for all respondents are provided in "2000 Sophomore Student Survey: All Respondents."
