This report does not include results for survey items 1-9 which deal with faculty contributions. The instructions for this block of questions in the Web version of the 2000-2001 Graduating Senior Survey (GSS) did not include the phrase "in your major department," which was part of the instructions in previous years' surveys and in the paper version of the 2000-2001 GSS. Careful analysis indicates that students answer these questions differently when asked about their major department than when they are not. Therefore, we can not post this year's data for these questions in the usual format.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Later this fall we will post separate analyses of this year's Web- and paper-version data for these questions, and our analyses of prior years' data.
