The institution provides financial statements and related documents, including multiple measures for determining financial health as requested by the Commission, which accurately and appropriately represent the total operation of the institution.

North Carolina State University is in compliance with this standard.

Explanation
NC State University has a strong financial position, as evidenced in the Management’s Discussion and Analysis section of the State Audit, which says:

The University’s financial position remains strong with net assets of $667,426,000, an increase of $7,924,000.  The strength of the University’s financial position is attributed to factors including enrollment growth, significant improvements to campus facilities, a strong research program, the evolution of the Centennial Campus, advancements provided through the University’s endowments and its affiliated foundations, and appropriated funds from the State of North Carolina.

The university’s financial statements are posted on the Web, along with the results of its state audit. There were no major or minor audit findings in the State Audit for fiscal year 2001-2002.  These documents contain multiple measures for determining financial health for the total operation of the university .
