Educational Programs # 3.5.2 (residence requirement) Compliance Explanation The residence policy is available to faculty, staff, and students through the university's Handbook for Teaching and Advising and the Undergraduate Catalog. The university ensures compliance with this requirement in the following manner. Registration and Records maintains an Automated Degree Audit System, which monitors a student's completion of degree requirements as he or she progresses through the university. When the student nears completion of his or her program, that student's academic record is reviewed by the faculty adviser, department, and college dean's office before the student is cleared for graduation. The Automated Degree Audit System is also used during the graduation clearance process. The residence requirement policy applies equally to on-campus and distance education students. Supplementary
