Section A: Your NC State Experience

1. From 2004 to 2010, response options "Sometimes" and "Usually" changed to "Occasionally" and "Often," respectively.

2. The 2010 question included a "Have never done" option, while the 2004 question did not.

3. The 2004 question was worded to ask how respondents felt "hanging out," while the 2010 version was worked to ask about "hanging out/attending events."

4. From 2004 to 2010, response options "Agree Strongly" and "Disagree Strongly" changed to "Strongly Agree" and "Strongly Disagree," respectively.

5. The 2004 question was worded to ask respondents about their comfort with students in classes or labs, while the 2010 question was worded to ask respondents only about courses.

Section B: Interacting with Others

6. Both 2004 and 2010 questions included a "Don't know" option not displayed here.

Section C: Multicultural Activities on Campus

7. In 2004, the question was worded to ask why respondents had not participated OR had not participated more often.

Section D: The Role of Diversity in Higher Education

8. From 2004 to 2010, response options "Agree Strongly" and "Disagree Strongly" changed to "Strongly Agree" and "Strongly Disagree," respectively.

Section E: Campus Climate

No notes for trend years 2004-2010

Section F: Shaping Attitudes about Diversity

9. The 2010 question included a "Not applicable" option, while the 2004 question did not.
