I would suggest that you begin by reviewing the Executive Summary on-line, which includes color-coded tables reflecting differences between NCSU, peer, and university responses, including differences between male and female faculty and white faculty and faculty of color.
The "Report on COACHE Survey" highlights differences between NC State responses and those at our peer institutions as well as significant differences between the responses of male and female faculty and white faculty and faculty of color.
The "COACHE Tables NCSU/Peers/All Universities" contains responses on all survey items from NC State, peer institutions, and all universities as well as responses by gender and race. It will be useful if you would like to see more details about particular survey items without searching for them in the Core Report.
The "Core Report" includes detailed reports on responses for each survey item, including reports by gender and race. It also contains reports by academic area and appendices that contain the survey instrument, frequency tables, and open-ended responses.
The COACHE results have been discussed by the NC State Deans' Council and the Gender Diversity Task Force. If there are other groups who would like a presentation and discussion of the COACHE results and their uses, please contact me. I look forward to discussing the COACHE survey and how the results can be useful to the university in making NC State more competitive in recruiting and retaining early-career faculty.
